Mission Statement
The Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3377 Manchaca, Texas motto is "Honor the dead by helping the living.” We uphold our motto by helping veterans and their families and the community in which we live through our dedication to programs on Americanism, Cancer Aid and Research, Community Service, Hospitals and Veterans Administration Medical Centers, the VFW National Home, Legislative, and youth programs and activities. We serve our home Post and it’s veteran membership and Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard men and women and their families to honor the sacrifices they have made for our country.

 

Membership
VFW Post 3377 Auxiliary works hand-in-hand with Post members to serve the needs of veterans, active duty and reserve and National Guard members and their families, and our community. It is through our active membership that we are able to uphold the mantra of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States: "Honor the dead by serving the living.”

If you meet one of the following, then we would welcome you as a member of our great organization…WE NEED YOU, VETERANS NEED YOU, ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES NEED YOU, AND YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS YOU…JOIN TODAY!

 

Eligibility
Wives/Husbands, widows/widowers, mothers/fathers, foster and step mothers/fathers (who have performed the duties as parent), grandmothers/grandfathers, daughters/sons, granddaughters/grandsons, foster and step daughters/sons (who attained that status prior to age sixteen and for whom the duties as parent were performed), sisters/brother, half sisters/brothers, foster and stepsisters/brothers (who attained that status prior to age sixteen) of persons who were or are eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Authorization is shown on the veteran’s separation document.

Anyone eligible for membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States are eligible for dual membership in the Auxiliary.

Members must be citizens of the United States and at least sixteen years old.
